Our Technical

Material Testing

The vacuum pumps are manufactured in standard Cast iron material of construction. However depending on the application, Tarun Tech Engineers also supplies vacuum pumps in TV-100, TV-200, TV-300 & TV-600 material of construction to suit corrosive environment. SS cladding and ARC coating also available on request.

Performance Testing of Vacuum Pumps

All our castings are tested for surface defects, mechanical, chemical testing and hardness before being used for machining.

All our rotor-shaft assemblies are automatically balanced according to ISO 1940-Gr 6.3

We use only standard bearings like SKF, TIMKEN, KOYO for our products

Before shipment, all the vacuum pumps and compressors are tested for their performance as per test standard of BS 1571 part 2 1975 / Pneurop standard 6612/1984 and the same can be witnessed by any third party inspection agency as per customers choice.

Material of Construction

Casing, impeller, cones / control discs / head cone, End covers are made out of closed grained Cast Iron (15:210). The Shaft is made of Carbon Steel (EN-8). Both the ends of the Shaft are carried on anti-friction Ball / Roller Bearings with grease lubrication. Teflon Impregnated Asbestos (PTFE) packing rope is used in the stuffing box which helps preventing leakage of air/gases from the pump to the atmosphere or vice-versa. At the stuffing Box portion of the shaft, replaceable shaft sleeves of Phosphor Bronze / Stainless Steel are provided.

If desired, the pumps / compressors can also be supplied with different types of materials of construction such as S.G. Iron, Phosphor Bronze, Stainless Steel etc., so as to suit the application.
